Bagging and palletizing line for Pet Food
19·12·2014
The factory, which will manufacture dry pet food for dogs and cats, is being built and is due to begin production in the first half of 2014.
Maxipet has placed an order at Boga Técnica for the installation of the automated bagging line and palletiser which will be manufactured by the Concetti Group which we represent.
The automated multi-format line will work with 1.5, 2, 4, 7.5, 10, 15 and 20 kg bags.
The IGF1200+FFS bagging machine will work with pre-shaped open-mouth paper bags, plastic-coated raffia, PE and aluminium packaging (with and without handles, ZIP, easy-open systems, etc.) in both soldered and sewn edging formats.
The versatile nature of this bagging machine means that, as well as working with open-mouth bags, the client can work with bags taken from a tubular reel thanks to the decoiler incorporated into this particular type of bagging machine.
Our client plans to produce different types of pet food (maintenance and premium ranges) and the line will enable the company to package using the very diverse materials used in the sector such as paper, polyethylene and all types of laminates.
The entire line includes an electronic weigher with a belt feeding system, metal detector at the mouth, IFG1200+FFS bagging system, conveyor belts, bends, grouping system in order to make bundles, a four-column PS-3ª/18S-4S mixed palletiser and conveyor at the end for completed pallets.
Yield is around 1,000 bags/hour in the 1.5 kg and 2 kg small sizes and 800 bags/hour in the large 15 and 20 kg sizes.
