Bagging and palletizing line in the chemical industry

The company has an annual turnover of around 600 million € and it employs almost 1,300 people. Its manufacturing plants are located mainly on the Iberian Peninsula (Sabiñanigo, Tarragona, Flix, Almussafes, Cartagena and Aranjuez, amongst others).
Products such as potassium hydroxide, sodium hydroxide, plastic granulates, formaldehyde and phosphates have been bagged and palletised using machinery supplied by the company we represent, Concetti Group, at the numerous Ercros plants for over 15 years.
Over the last few months, the company has set up a new bagging line and palletiser at the Sabiñánigo plant. It is specifically for use with potassium carbonate.
The line consists of an FFS-E model tubular reel bagging machine with a gross weighing system, a ferrous and non-ferrous metal detector shaping system with motorised rollers so that the product can settle and a Jula model anthopomorphic robot-controlled palletiser with double bag selection and empty pallet pincer.
Microgranular potassium carbonate is a highly hygroscopic product and the entire line was, therefore, designed with the maximum number of accessories in stainless steel to ensure that the durability of the entire line was not affected by the environmental conditions.
