Packaging line for the pellets sector

Grupo Forestal Río Claro contacted us, Boga Técnica, to install a bagging line at its new pellet plant in the Maule region.

Grupo Forestal Río Claro, is a Chilean company leader in the market of:

production,
manufacture and
supplier specializing in impregnated wood poles.
Wooden poles treated with preservative salts according to international standards regulated by EUROFINS. Its line of business is oriented to the segments:

agricultural sector,

electrical

construction and

household

During the preliminary phase of the project, Forestal Rio Claro, was very clear about the technology it wanted to choose for its bagging line. Our company, thanks to the experience acquired in this sector with more than 40 automatic lines working, proposed the most appropriate solution.

Once Forestal Rio Claro visited several of our facilities in operation, they were able to validate us as a supplier and launch the orders.

The entire process of starting the bagging line had to be carried out remotely because of the Covid during the months of March and April of this year. A new milestone has been achieved, thanks to the collaboration between the technicians of Boga Técnica and the technicians of Grupo Forestal Río Claro.

The new pellet plant was born with the concept of using high technology to obtain a high quality product.

The bagging line can form 700 bags per hour and consists of:

belt weigher and

bagger model FPK44, for 15 kg and 18 kg formats;

PG-120 push layer palletizer and

model FB-1000 Extensible Film Stretch Hood.

It has:

automated work of equipment and lines

continuous monitoring of processes,

drying metrometer fed by a biomass furnace; and

gas recirculation,

exhaust gas cleaning system and

intermediate silos for dry product storage and

optimize the different stages of production.

Boga Técnica will continue exploring the American market. We already have a company collaborating in the commercial management and a technician specialist in our lines of packing in Argentina to be able to attend to the surrounding countries.
