Animal feed bagging: automatic line for palletizing and wrapping

At Boga Técnica, we have successfully completed the installation of a fully automated line for bagging, palletizing, and wrapping compound animal feed at the facilities of COPASA, S. Coop.

This turnkey project has been developed as a successful case of industrial automation in the animal feed industry, executed in two implementation phases. This approach allowed for a gradual system integration without interrupting production.

The result is a solution designed to maximize efficiency in animal feed bagging, automatic palletizing, and dispatch logistics. In addition, it significantly improves the overall productivity of the plant.

⚙️ Phase 1: automatic animal feed bagging

🏭 High-precision bagging with I-Flex automatic bagging machine

In the first phase of the project, an I-Flex open-mouth automatic bagging machine was installed, designed specifically for animal feed bagging.

It allows working with formats from 5 to 40 kg without changing the bagging spout. In fact, the format change is carried out automatically in just 90 seconds.

This system enabled the automation of the initial packaging process, achieving:

• Precise product dosing

• High production rates

• Stable bagging process

• Reduced manual intervention

Therefore, this phase laid the foundation for the industrial automation of compound feed bagging.

In the second phase, the PG-120 automatic palletizing system was integrated, responsible for forming pallets layer by layer.

This system allows:

• Continuous palletizing without interruptions

• High reliability in demanding industrial environments

🔄 Automatic pallet wrapping for industrial logistics

The final pallet is transferred to the UNIWRAP 200 AUTO wrapping system, where stretch film is applied to secure the load.

This ensures:

• Pallet stability during transport

• Feed protection during storage

• Logistical safety in distribution
