Francisco Palao Installs a Boga Técnica Bagging Press in Totana

Agraria, an agricultural cooperative based in Totana (Murcia, Spain), has installed a Boga Técnica pepper bagging press to optimize the weighing, bagging and pressing of its dried Totana peppers. This new installation responds to the increasing demand experienced in recent years and represents a significant step forward in the automation of its production processes.

Francisco Palao S. Coop. Agraria is recognized for the production, drying and commercialization of the authentic Totana pepper, an emblematic crop of the Region of Murcia and an essential raw material for the production of high-quality paprika.

The drying process preserves the pepper’s organoleptic and nutritional properties. Once dried, the peppers must be handled and packed under controlled conditions to maintain product quality, prevent contamination and ensure complete traceability throughout the supply chain.

A Pepper Bagging Press to Improve Production Efficiency

To increase production efficiency, the cooperative selected Boga Técnica to supply and install a pepper bagging press capable of automatically weighing, filling bags and forming 30 kg compressed bales.

This solution produces a uniform package that simplifies storage, optimizes transportation and significantly reduces handling time. In addition, it increases productivity while ensuring a precise and consistent packaging process.
