Boga Técnica Announces the Launch of Concetti’s IMF ālĕs: The Most Flexible and Fastest Linear Bagging Machine in the Pet Food Market

Concetti, our excellent supplier of automatic bagging and palletizing systems, offers the market a new bagging line to pack pet food in the range of 3-20 kg at a speed of 2000 bags per hour. IMF ālĕs, which in Latin means “winged” and “fast”, is made with high-quality construction materials and components to ensure customers reliability, high performance, long service life, and reduced maintenance.

Energy Efficiency and High Performance

Energy efficiency combined with high performance is one of the main objectives of the project. The machine uses a large number of brushless motors to reduce electricity consumption and ensure efficient management of the bags and the product contained within them.

Flexibility: A Single Automatic Line for All Formats

IMF ālĕs presents itself as a highly flexible bagging machine, with which Boga Técnica-Concetti confirms its ability to design advanced technological solutions and integrate automation devices for an evolved and competitive sector like pet food. The bagging machine works with prefabricated open-mouth bags from 250 to 500 millimeters wide and 400 to 1000 millimeters long, of all types used in the sector: paper, plastic, poly-laminates, and recyclable monomaterials. Additionally, it supports various functionalities such as easy-open systems, handles, or freshness-saving closures.

Efficient Management and Customization

To efficiently manage bags equipped with opening and closing systems, Concetti integrates devices for pre-opening the bag mouth before being inserted into the filling mouth, ensuring the efficiency of the bagging process.

Moreover, there are numerous opportunities for customization and integration of devices. The line can be equipped with metal detectors, weight control, printers, labelers, and coding systems, both with the empty bag and after it is filled. To preserve the freshness and shelf life of the product, Concetti offers systems for evacuating air in contact with the product inside the bag and bagging in a modified atmosphere by injecting gas in a controlled atmosphere.

Quick Format Change

The format change is carried out in approximately one minute. As with all Concetti bagging lines, the format change of the bag is automatic, requiring no tools or operator intervention. The machine parameters reside in memory, and when changing the format, they are called up and sent to the rest of the elements present throughout the line. This includes integrated weighing systems, metal detectors, weight control, palletizer, and wrapper for full pallets. The operator is only responsible for feeding the empty bags into the process. Consequently, the versatility and reliability of the plant allow 24/7 production cycles.

Ergonomic Design and Accessibility

IMF ālĕs is also characterized by a harmonious and innovative design, allowing the operator high visibility during the production cycle. Special attention has been paid to the loading of empty bags, with an ergonomic bag warehouse, an important element for highly productive bagging lines. The perfect accessibility of the machine’s internal components facilitates cleaning, thereby minimizing downtime.

Customized Turnkey Solutions

Therefore, Boga Técnica-Concetti specializes in customized turnkey solutions ranging from product weighing systems to complete pallet wrapping and protection systems, including bagging and palletizing. This makes them a unique point of contact for the entire bagging process.
